Run 50:00 [3] 7.01 km (7:08 / km)
(injured)

I have decided to start running again, as I really need to get back into shape before Tassy. I went to Reef Hills this morning, in glorious sunshine, and ran the whole way (although slow) feeling really comfortable, including running up all the hills. It was a great confidence booster. I'll have to be careful over the next couple of days - but, in general, things are starting to look up.

Swim 30:00 [3] 1.0 km (30:00 / km)
(injured)

Swim in the Benalla pool. I have changed my technique after watching the breast stroke in the Olympics. I think I could improve my times a bit as a result. I started today and found I was faster, but also a bit more out of breath compared with normal.

Walk 1:00:00 [3] 6.38 km (9:24 / km)
(injured)

I thought I had better start appearing at events again, so went to street-O at Wheelers Hill tonight. It was dark and cold - but there were heaps of people there, including a number I haven't seen before. It was worth it - because it was the hard rubbish collection and I found four nice chairs that match the nice table I found at another collection. I have looked in lots shops for chairs but haven't found any that match. These ones match perfectly.

Walk 1:37:00 [2] 9.7 km (10:00 / km)
(injured)

Walk around Blackburn on a beautiful sunny day.

It was a sad day for me, as today was the anniversary of my mother passing away and we held her ashes ceremony this morning at the Brighton Cemetery. Her ashes are now in the family grave with my father and my grandparents. Usually when we are at the cemetery it is dark and gloomy, but today was a lovely sunny day. I felt like a long contemplative walk when I got home.
