Walk 1:20:00 [2] 8.0 km (10:00 / km)
(injured)

Walk around the river at Shepparton on a glorious day. I didn't even try to run as I am supposed to be bulding bone strength gradually.

Walk 57:00 [2] 5.7 km (10:00 / km)
(injured)

I came back to Benalla last night for a long weekend. Today I started to run aorund the lake, but the knee was not happy on the hard surface, so I resorted to walking. I passed a paintball and laser skirmish man setting up for an event, but he assured me i would not be shot on my walk. Today is also Benalla show day, so there were lots of horses and other activities in the showgrounds. I resisted the temptation to inspect the entrants in the 'Best gum leaf arrangement' or the 'flower arrangement on a wooden spoon' or the 'packet cake mix' sections. Everyone can be a winner in Benalla.

Oh, and I had to cut through the showgrounds to get around the lake. The gatekeeper let me in - on condition I went around the edge and climbed out through the hole in the fence - the same hole all the local lads were using to climb in!
