Orienteering 1:01:00 [3] 5.57 km (10:57 / km)

Aus champs relays with Phillippa and Margie. I was first runner,so the heat wasn't anyhing like yesterday. I had a fairly clean run except where l lost about 5 mins running up a hill in the wrong direction and back. I also faded after the spectator control.
Overall l was happy with how l went this Aus champs. I am starting to get consistent results but need to lose weight and gain fitness:(

Aus long disrance champs. I started around midday and it was already very hot. I walked almost all of it - knee/s hurt, tough hills, heat and the body just wouldn't run. I also made some bad route choices. I staeted to rapidly lose interest after being overtaken by some quite large ladies.Never mind, it was nice being in the bush. Result wise, l dropped down well into the second half of the field.

Didn't see the course setter there. Thought he would be counting scalps :)

Friday Oct 2, 2015 #

Run 15:26 [3] 2.24 km (6:53 / km)

Aus champs sprint champs at St Patricks school. I was almost clean but pretty slow and sluggish. 12th of 24. Pipped Margie by 5 seconds, who pipped Phillippa by 2 seconds.
At least l am consistent - 10th out of 22 in Vic champs middle distance. 11th out 22 in Aus champs middle distance.

Walk from work to Tan track and round twice.
