MTB 56:45 [3] 11.0 km (5:10 / km)

Leisurely ride around Anglesea bike tracks
8 AM

Run 36:00 [3] 5.0 km (7:12 / km)

Jog around the wetlands and river tracks of Anglesea. What a beautiful area, with intracies and many options for running. Knee a bit tweeky.

10 AM

Run 32:54 [3] 4.55 km (7:14 / km)

Exploratory run along the Mullum trail from Warrandyte Rd down to the Main Yarra Trail and back. I left it too late and it was too hot in the exposed areas. Now off to a nearby nursery for some more plants.

MTBO 1:14:00 [3] 13.5 km (5:29 / km)

MTBO at the YouYangs. I haven't ridden here before and found the combination of the new bike and the flowing tracks absolutely wonderful. I love those 29 inch wheels.

Walk/jog 53:22 [3] 5.45 km (9:48 / km)

I had a big day. I woke up at 4.00 am and didn't think there was much chance of getting back to sleep so went into work and got started early. After a 12 hour day, I headed off the street O at Templestowe Heights, which would have been better named as Templestowe Heights AND Depths (or whatever the opposite of heights is). I haven't been there before. It was so hilly. I wanted to run but 5 runs in a week is too many for me and the body wouldn't have it.

I had a slight misfortune which delayed my start as I detoured via the nearby cricket club loos, only to find the doors through to the loo area had a one way lock and I was locked in! Luckily after a few minutes a man came through with a key and I got out!

Run 42:32 [3] 5.4 km (7:53 / km)

Street O at Camberwell. Tired, but I jogged almost all the way. I had to search for a couple of controls and also had to wait for a train to pass.

Note

Rest day. I must have looked tired because there was a flurry of people on the crowded train leaping to their feet to let the poor old dear sit down.
