Note

What a fabulous drive from Port Augusta to Coober Pedy. Brilliant scenery. I'm so glad l drove. Coober Pedy is at the opposite end of enjoyment. Horrible place, especially to camp!

Walk 1:00:00 [3] 6.0 km (10:00 / km)

Walk around the river at Mildura, while unsuccessfully waiting for my tent to dry after a frosty night. It finally dried out at Burra. I am now in Port Augusta, in relative comfort as the car said it was 20 here today. I' m ready for, although a little nervous, the long drive ahead over the next few days. Having said that, l'm loving the scenery. The drier, the better. 1200kms so far.
Regrettably l left Ron and his friend Sandy at Sea Lake, after his Discovery broke down towing the canpervan. They may be there for a few days while repairs are made.

Walk around Blackburn and Nunawading, wearing in my new boots. These ones (Merrel) were more comfortable, but unfortunately l have quite a sore foot - it feels like a strained arch.

Run around Blackburn. Legs were tight and it's not looking good for the rogaine. I'm off shopping again today as l think the boots l bought are too small. You seem to need more room for expansion when walking, as compared to running.

I thought I had better go for a walk and try and wear in my boots before the rogaine. Walk around Blackburn.
