Run 41:00 [3] 5.5 km (7:27 / km)

Run around Blackburn lake and creeklands. Coughy most of the way. I haven't been for a run for ages due to skiing, flu etc. Spring seems to have sprung in its full glory in the meantime.

Walk 55:00 [3] 5.5 km (10:00 / km)

Street O in Box Hill. I only went because l had to collect something from Suzanne to take to Qld. The streets were dark and gloomy and there were a few people lurking. So l didn't really feel safe. Bring on the summer series.

Orienteering 1:28:57 [3] 6.6 km (13:29 / km)

Victorian long distance championships at Chapel Flat, near Creswick. Everything was very wet and slippery, and there were a number of creek crossings, which I didn't mind. Despite coughing in the car all the way to the event and all the way home, I felt fine once out on the course. Navigation wise I was Ok but could have improved my route choice. Margie and I were neck and neck at the last few controls (she started 4 mins after me), so I tried to outrun her up the last hill, but couldn't make up those minutes. A nicely run event and a good day, despite the weather.
I am looking forward to more orienteering in the Aus champs in Qld. Once again I'm planning a road trip there and back to view the scenery.
