Orienteering 1:19:00 [3] 6.43 km (12:17 / km)

Bendigo club event at Sedgwick South course 2. It was a beautiful day, a lovely area and a well set course. I didn't make any errors and felt OK, however l got a poor time which l attribute to poor route selection. I went far too wide and up too many contours between 2 (85) and 3 (75), and should have spent more time in the gullies, which were open, and less time on the rocky hills.

A rather feeble attempt to run around Blackburn in beautiful sunny weather. I felt like going to sleep about half way around and cut it short. I also saw another woman runner having a snooze in the sun on a park bench.

Street O at Shepherds Bush. I felt pretty good tonight, partly because the roads and paths were smooth and made for good running. Nice night to be out.

Street O at Waverley Heights - street pole number score O. Lots to carry - map, score card, torch and pen. My torch was so strong l couldn't read the map.
