Orienteering 58:00 [3] 4.57 km (12:41 / km)

Vic Club Relays. I was terribly late (and not because l forgot to set my clock back, but because l misread the event information and went to Bunnings first), but l needn't have worried as my first runner was last back with an MP. By the time she came back, I was embarrassingly in the loo and missed my start. Once on the course, l had a good run with NO mistakes - first time in ages. I even found the green easy. When l got home, l found l had lost my glasses. Luckily l posted on Facebook and one of my club members had stolen them (thought they belonged to his wife) and took them home, so l had to go over and get them.

Last minute decision to go to Kennington Parkrun - unofficially as l still haven't printed out my slip. I started several minutes late and had a positive experience passing lots of prams, dogs and walkers.

Orienteering 35:35 [3] 3.5 km (10:10 / km)

The fundamental problem with Bendigo is that there are too many things to do, and l have been trying to do them all. After Parkrun l did some gardening, then rushed off to orienteering. Silly me chose Course 1, which looked fine on paper. Once l started l felt totally depleted of energy, and realised l hadn't eaten or drunk enough after Parkrun. Couldn't keep going and DNF

Blackburn creeklands. Didn't really feel like it. Maybe a bit out -of-sorts.

Annual street O at Maroondah Triangle followed by the scout BBQ and presentations. The scouts' cooking appears to improve annually at the same rate that my running quality appears to decline.

Benalla lake and gardens. Perfect temperature and sunny morning for a jog.
