My back settled yesterday and overnight, so l decided to ' never give in' and went off for a short plod around Blackburn creeklands, interspersed with several stretch sessions and one short hill. Both knee and back held up reasonably, so l am hoping yesterday's issue was just muscles settling in. Nice to hear a frog chorus in the ponds on the way!

Knee (and back) feel substantially better after hanging from the swings on Sunday and a bit of a rest, so l decided to do a short plod. Following the advice of the good 'Dr' Ted, whose advice has been useful before and seems to work for the opposition, l kept it short and gentle and went around Blackburn lake. So far so good. Life might return in time for Oceania after all.

Famous last words. I got in the shower and my back went into a spasm. It now feels much worse, sadly.
