Orienteering 2:45:00 [3] 10.0 km (16:30 / km)

Maxi 3-hour (really a mini rogaine) near Glenluce. I wore hiking boots and walked. The wildflowers were lovely. I had trouble on one control - l went down the wrong gully, and later got stuck trying to cross a deep erosion gully, which had passable sections marked on the map, but l couldn't find them. Bung knee was sore for the last half, and l slowed down considerably. I enjoyed my spot prize chocolate (which l won because the real winner Mr Invis - had gone home).

Almost got my '30' for the day. Jog around Blackburn streets in new shoes. Knee a bit wonky, so kept it short. Stopped midway to chat with a friend's parents, then a neighbour, then passed a colleague's wife running the other way.

Back to Benalla yesterday (l forgot my camping gear last time l was here and need it for the MTBO weekend). Ran (struggled) around Benalla lake and gardens. Quite warm.
