Snowshoeing with Colette in Kennedy Park. Alas, Colette developed some blisters after a couple of miles, but she found that walking in her boots was OK, so we switched to hiking instead of snowshoeing. But we cut short our planned distance and decided to do some road walking later in the day.

After-dinner walk with Colette out past the black cows and back. On our out leg, a police car went flying by and up the hill near the power station. When we got to the top of the hill, someone rolled down their car window and told us that there had been some shooting going on. We continued along Woodland Road for a bit, then turned aroung to go home.

Shortly thereafter, though, the police car came back and the cop stopped to ask if we had heard any shooting. No, we had not. He said that the shooting was down by Woods Pond. I said, well the guys like to go out at night and shoot their guns from time to time; he agreed and we continued on our ways.
