Morning walk with Colette in Lenox. We stuck to the roads, which were much clearer than most of the sidewalks; and the traffic was minimal in the morning.

I thought that East Street and Route 20 might be the cleanest roads to run on, so I did an out-and-back; the roads were pretty clean, but the sidewalk on East Street was a bit messy. Didn't feel very chipper, so I cut the route short.

Morning walk on the condo grounds since it had snowed last night and the sidewalks and roads would not have been plowed and cleared yet.

Colette needed to get a gift certificate from a restaurant downtown, so I rode with her into town and then walked back home. Sidewalks were a mess, but I was able to walk in the roads most of the time. Also quite chilly due to the high winds.

Morning walk with Colette from her office at Simon's Rock, and out-and-back on low-traffic roads. Got to pass the sheep farm and there were a lot of lambs frolicking around.

Headed out north along Crystal Street and then back toward Lenoxdale and over to Golden Hill Road before heading home. The roads are really clear at the moment--nice.
Traveled to Bard College in Annandale, New York, today, so while I was there I decided to visit their gym. They have a lot more treadmills than Simon's Rock and one of them was open so I decided to do a short walk and a run.

And a short run on the treadmill without any snow, ice or strong winds to contend with was certainly a nice change of pace.

Received my new Brooks Ghost, so off I went for a run; just headed south on East Street for 1.4 miles, then back and out along Bradley Street before reversing for home. Shoes felt great, I need the extra cushioning.
