Thought I'd take a day off from the bugs and do a road walk instead. Up Golden Hill Road to Lenoxdale then north Crystal Street to Woods Pond. Did encounter some bugs near the pond, but I hustled through that area and back to home.

Hiking (some running) 1:00:57 [3] 4.01 mi (15:12 / mi) +20ft 15:08 / mi

Hike on the Housatonic Rail Trail. Was hoping to run, but the right knee was a bit sore, so I walked the first two miles, then ran a mile and finished up with another mile of walking.

Hiking (and running) 1:20:28 [3] 5.21 mi (15:27 / mi) +615ft 13:53 / mi

Hike/run in Kennedy Park. Must say that the bugs aren't quite so plentiful here.

One mile of only hiking, and then I tried to run anything that wasn't too steep, but I always hiked the steep downhills.

Hiking (some running) 1:24:25 [3] 5.11 mi (16:31 / mi) +335ft 15:33 / mi

While in Pittsfield for some car work, it made sense to do a hike at The Boulders, less than a half-mile from the repair shop.

If nothing else, The Boulders has plenty of FDFs and mosquitoes. However, the trails make up for that bothersome duo, so I live with them.
