Hike in Kennedy Park starting from the parking lot on Dugway Road in Lenox.
Did the old race loop of five miles distance, about all I felt inclined to do. Did try to keep up a decent effort nonetheless.

Short out-and-back hike on the Appalachian Trail starting from Washington Mountain Road in Washington.
Met four thru-hikers as they were heading north and one section-hiker heading south.
Managed to "run" the last mile on the return leg, but the trail is pretty slow-going with lots of roots and raised planks to navigate in the wet areas.

Thought I'd take a day off from the bugs and do a road walk instead. Up Golden Hill Road to Lenoxdale then north Crystal Street to Woods Pond. Did encounter some bugs near the pond, but I hustled through that area and back to home.

Hike on the Housatonic Rail Trail. Was hoping to run, but the right knee was a bit sore, so I walked the first two miles, then ran a mile and finished up with another mile of walking.
