Hike with Colette on the bike trails to the south of Reservoir Road. It was 29°F, but the wind was perky, so a much colder real feel.
We met a couple of guys on their fat-tire E-bikes; both work at the Arcadian Shop, so they probably got discounts.

Walk from the condo-a long clockwise loop with a couple of out-and-backs. Basically, up Golden Hill Road, then up Walker Street, north on East Street and down Delafield Street. Then out past Lenox WTF and back toward Woods Pond and Woodland Road. One further excursion up and down Washington Mountain Road and then back to the condo. Cold and windy with a real-feel of 11°F.

Hiking 1:51:06 [3] 6.29 mi (17:40 / mi) +240ft 17:03 / mi
Hike at Woods Pond, an out-and-back. Very windy, so the real feel was around 12°F. Even the ice fishermen weren't standing around on the pond, they were sitting in their trucks with the engine running.
Didn't feel particularly energetic, probably tired from yesterday's longish hike, so I took it easy.

Hike on the bike trails south of Reservoir Road with an additional loop to the south along the Burbank Trail. The trails were still pretty firm, despite the warming temperatures.
Met one jogger with his two dogs and one hiker.

Walk on the condo grounds. Basically taking a day off, since Colette and I needed to go to Westfield and then to West Springfield to do some errands.
Tuesday Mar 2, 2021 #

Hike on the bike trails to the south of Reservoir Road in Lenox. The temperature was about 12°F when I started, but the real feel was in the single digits. That meant that the trails were frozen, and since they had been biked during the past weekend, they were as firm as pavement. With studded shoes they had become perfect to hike quickly along. So that's what I did.
There was no one else on the trails but me today.
Monday Mar 1, 2021 #

Counterclockwise loop from the condo on roads. Out to Woods Pond, past Lenox WTF, then back to Crystal Street. Then over to Golden Hill Road before heading home.
Warm, but windy, so I was a little cold at the end; the good news is that I pushed the pace enough to keep fairly warm.
