Orienteering training in typical Woodhill Forest sand dune terrain with Tom. Running is mostly fast but the soft pine needles and thinnings made for a good terrain strength workout. It took about 20 minutes to jog in to Whites Line (Spaghitti Soup) from Restall Rd. Then we did 35 mins of orienteering taking turns leading. Physically I started feeling rubish about half way through and my heart rate was higher than it should have need at that pace. The navigation was aimed at hitting a good attack point, which worked well but I had some small errors where I just stopped to work things out fully. Then a 25 min jog out, which was harder than it should have neen. Feels like im losing some form...
