Long run from Muriwai straight up the forest and turned around after 55 minutes, Pushed pretty hard most of the time but went through phases of feeling fresh and tired. Shin still a little bit sore in the first 5 minutes and later on in the day.

Running (Trail) tempo 56:00 [4] 11.0 km (5:05 / km)
shoes: Salomon SpeedCross 2

Smashed out a hard tempo on the Riverhead MTB tracks plus a little bit of terrain. Once I was warmed up I got some very good speed up and recovered quickly after hills. Small pain in the inside of my right shin at the start and at a few stages on the run which was a little bit worrying.

Orienteering 49:00 [3] 6.0 km (8:10 / km) +200m 7:00 / km

Testing courses for my OY. Wasnt really into the navigation but running was fun.

Running (Terrain) 42:00 [4] 8.0 km (5:15 / km)
shoes: Icebug Spirit olx

Ran from Muriwai into the Pulpit Rock map to check my courses and control sites. Ran in hard and kept pushing up the hills to wards my start. Very happy with how I could keep pushing even though my legs really wanted to stop. Pushed hard on the way back to my car too and with most of it being down hill it must have been one of the fastest sustained paces I have in terrain.

Session so close to 90 mins!
5 PM

Road Cycling 2:00:00 [3]

Rode with Steve from home and then later Dan and Olly joined us. Was staight after running but ate quickly although I still felt tired. Struggled to hold there pace on the foster road hill but managed to hold on. the pace eventually eased up and I could chill out a bit, but Im sure that hard effort was good for my mind at least.

Exactly 120 minutes! ahahah all my sessions are ending up on round numbers and I havent been using a watch while running, just checking the time before and after.

Orienteering 1:01:00 [4] **** 10.0 km (6:06 / km)
shoes: Icebug Spirit olx

Awesome course set my Matt and run on contours only on Telephone Track. Lost about 3 minutes all up, 2 minutes of which was on 1 control, were I was very close but took a relatively long time to relocate. Energy felt pretty low at the finish.
