Running (Trail) long 1:47:00 [3] 15.0 km (7:08 / km)
shoes: Salomon SpeedCross 2

Colder weather today and rain for the first 20 minutes. I ran from Cascades up Upper Kauri to get to Lower Kauri which was a complete mud pit. Then Long Road Track and Fenceline to the Waitakere Dam. I wanted to go down the Tramline but the track was closed, probably due to slips so I ran up the Waitakere Dam road to Scenic Drive and along the Anderson Track which took be back to Cascades. I felt a bit sore at the end but nothing sore that night or the next day.

Mountain Biking 1:40:00 [3]

Ride with Steve until he broke his chain. Was at the Bottom of Jafa Kids too which is about the hardest place to get back to the car park from.

Running (Trail) 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: Icebug Spirit olx

A very muddy Goldie's Bush with Sabeth. River was high and ended up swimming a bit. Ice bugs were a great choice and I was very impressed with how well they gripped to the smooth rock.

Mountain Biking 1:50:00 [3]

Solid ride in Woodhill with Steve. Wass the first time in my new shoes and got used to the clips pretty quick. Pushed hard on the up hills. Getting a much better feel for the tracks and the bike now.

Orienteering (Summer Series) 54:40 [4] 9.0 km (6:04 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 X-Talon (pair 3)

Summer Series at Western Springs. Course 1 was 9 km and didnt have much road in it so was happy with that. Treated it as a training run as usual. Got the stitch every time my intensity went above 80% so didn't run the last half very fast. Made one bad exit direction on a long leg because I planned ahead without unfolding my map. I also ran past a track junction at 18 and took ages to find it.

Running (grass) 26:00 [4] 5.0 km (5:12 / km)
shoes: Salomon SpeedCross 2

First run back after being crippled from The Goat I intended to do a steady 40 minutes. Running felt good until 20 minutes when my right calf started to get sore again so I cut the run short. Also some discomfort in my right hamstring tendon.

Some inconsistent stitch pains came after the usual tight sensation though my upper torso.
