Lots of pent up energy for some reason and the body decided it wanted to clip along at a decent pace and who was I to tell it otherwise. Planned to do just 1*5km lap from the house. Felt good so decided to go for a second lap. 19:53 for the first 5km and then 18:14 for the second 5km, faster than any of the Athlone parkruns I've done (on pace) good ego boost ahead of NI Champs that its not all doom and gloom on the training front.
