Not a perfect run, made a few errors and drifted for a few controls. Handed over in 3rd on the open behind darren and shea by too much in my opinion wanted to be closer, handed over who took off in persuit and ahead of cork o 2 by around 80seconds.

Orienteering ◪ warm up/down 5:00 [1]

no third leg runner showed for us so i stepped up to the plate to run again

Orienteering ◪ race (IOC relay) 35:58 [5] *** 6.53 km (5:30 / km) +39m 5:21 / km

John handed over to me 3minutes down on danny in third place so i knew there was a race on. Took off after him and saw him when i was going to my 4,6,7,8 and then coming out of my 13 i saw him crossing the road nearly 50 seconds back on me so i floored it and had a small miss on 15 then suffered home to take third for BOC 1. Better race the second time and was around 5 minutes off Marcus' fastest last leg time which isnt bad, seems to have been an exciting chase between Cork O and CNOC which i missed.

Note

Not a bad weekend in Kerry, a good middle distance, an ok long distance which needs to be perfected a bit and the relays were good training to cope under the pressure of leg 1 and the pressure of leg 3 while being wrecked. Irish middle and classic champ and a third in the relay so not too shabby and a good confidence boost and maybe reward for the training work ive put in along with those who coached me and advised me

M20A- 1/2
Course 4- 3/29

Not a perfect run, lost around 3 minutes as i decided id go to 8 before 7, oops. Got back on track and was relatively clean. Irish classic champ but nearly 3 minutes behind eoin who had a good run. Happy enough overall with the showing, Courses far more technical than yesterday, used the area north of the fence which most have never seen me included and also the map was perfect no faults there everything was bang on.
