Warm up before the IMRA college champs with Lorrieq, ColmM and Chrisophe.

Eventful drive up, was going well until between the Curragh and Hollywood. Had to get mumosh to pull the car over in Hollywood so i could get sick, worst travel sickness ive had. All the mornings fueling was left in the public carpark there 55mins before race time! Not ideal prep

Went about as well as i could have hoped for based on:
- sick less than 1hr before
- rough week of college and not much sleep
- no long runs in the hills or proper hill reps (300s on the track arent much use on a ~30min climb)

But at the end of the day simply beaten by stronger men

Sitting about 20m behind lorrieq and maybe 30m ahead of ColmM at the wrong marked route and then we were together again, leaders were gone way ahead. Got dropped on the grassy track and had some time to myself. Summited 8th, maybe 40/50sec down on lorrieq's group which was what i was aiming for. Didnt go suicide pace on the decent but caught the gang and went past and held on for 5th

Past 4 Varisty Mountain running: 1,1,3,5 so not a bad group of results.
