Running (Road) long 2:14:51 [3] 24.08 km (5:36 / km) +136m 5:27 / km
(injured) shoes: Asics Gel Noosa Tri10

Prebreakfast (and poor nights sleep) LSD with one of the Leevale groups. ~4km down to Blackrock Castle. Met Garrett, Dave, Louise, Laura and Justyn. Then off on 2 laps. Got passed by the group doing it at a faster group......not sure its smart to be doing 20milers at ~6:40pace. The group i was in stopped and took some cover when the rain got heavy.....i judged them horribly.

Had one starburst jelly on each lap and then a couple before the slog home which was mostly uphill, perfect

Felt tired and groin was a bit sore. All about time on the feet though right

Got a message looking for a running buddy. Down to the Marina and as far as the Mary statue before coming back. Groin for sure not as tight as was, just sore......as if someone did some serious poking in it.

Currabinny tonight too
6 PM

Orienteering ◪ race 22:32 [4] ** 4.35 km (5:11 / km) +119m 4:34 / km
spiked:14/15c shoes: Inov8 Oroc 280 Ice-Tec

CorkO Summer League #2
Currabinny Woods
4.1km 15c

Started getting nibbled by the midges at the start which wasnt fun but they were worse by the end.

Ok for the most part, slow up the hill to 9 and then fluffed 13 royally. Had a plan to run to till the quarry was below me and then turn right, saw others beating around by i tree and i got dragged up into it. Not a happy camper after my own stupidity. In other news young Turner has wheels!

Hip flexor not as tight as was last week but still tender after all the poking etc.

Kind of a boring course to be honest with not much route options, all the decisions were made for you nearly.

Will probably try and get a lift to Doneraile next week if i can
