Munster League
Tramore Sandhills & Old Racecourse
Brown : 7km : 28c

SR = 1.061
RI = 0.2

First race of the season in Ireland and luckily we didnt get the weather which was forecast. Solid to the first control and down to the dunes. 5sec miss to 2. Pretty happy with straight lining from 3-4-5 through the puddles. Wobble and slow in the long grass to 11 and 12, trying to stay near the line. was too far east to 13 and lost maybe 20-30sec on the hill, but thought I was in the right spot. Followed the path towards 14 and then climbed back into the control. Slow up the hill to 15, over the ridge to 16 and up to 17. Beach felt like running uphill and then clean in the flat section and the old race course section. Strava says 55m climb, Garmin connect says 107m with elevation correction disabled and 19m with it enabled.

Went to Dooly's after for fish 'n 'chips where we heard the news about Axel Foley, bit of a shock

Somehow managed to run 600m less than c.hill.......although slower.

Added the .csv too

On the Munster league standings I now appear under 3 different names!! Would have 3519points (from 3 races). Need to get to Blue pool next month and then Kilworth to get 5 races and place in the league. Might be do-able.

Bit wild out there today and kind of tricky to keep going in a straight line. Didnt meet anyone from start to finish, unsurprisingly.

First run back with "Donies Runners" since I reckon May. Just taking it slow and easy. Only some tiredness based soreness of the hip nearing the hour mark again.
