Late evening yesterday working with the GPX data from the guys in the field yesterday. Pre-breakfast run (leftover pasta waiting for after) and feeling tired and heavy.

Moving on Thursday back to Ballintober so my last Athlone parkrun, ended with 3/3 and another reasonable effort. Started and nobody came with me and by 1km I had about 80m on the "chasing bunch", ended up knocking off the pace a bit and just keeping a steady effort to the finish and making sure not to stack it on the wet/slippy grass and mud. Good turn out today and got chatting to race director Cpl Callaghan about All Army Orienteering when he found out I knew Padraig H.

GPS data to do, think I've a sampler to work as my DB monkey for the day under supervision and try to get some weekly numbers sorted and exported for monday morning......all while continuing to work through all the live Bruce Springsteen concerts on youtube in reverse chronological order based on year

Got my dates mixed up for SM-Sprintti and SHI/NI Champs weekend. No clash like I thought. Already have days booked for Helsinki but just need to get one more for the NI weekend, should be fine since I can always do some data work on the Sunday night when I get back......or the FTL's can do it for me on Saturday.

Tough day in the office having to do some work on Access for batches and standards along with getting all the logs up to date at to the project manager before even starting my day properly. Decided after 5 I'd slip away and go for a run, ended up just keeping on going. Thinking of doing the Greenway from Mullingar on Sunday if I can get a spin there. Now back to the office to do some GPS exporting and data checking.

45:54 for the first 10km and 45:53 for the second 10km

Bumped into Liam Brady doing some laps out there too. Only the creme de la creme of Athlone based athletes around tonight..........

Nice "swim" around AIT laps again. Torrential rain so had the place to myself. Nice to zone out after the office. Sorted all the GPS issues today in no time, fixed one GPS and worked out some SQL style stuff for data exporting. At least I sound like I know what I'm doing.

Fairly consistent lapping tonight which was the plan.

Starting to sort my plans out for SM-Sprintti 2017 in Helsinki, should be a good shock to the system early in the season.

Solid enough progression run around the grass. Very warm out tonight.

First day as Project Data Manager and not too bad. Some issues with database querying and exporting but for the most part fine and no issues with the GIS side of the house. No major IT issues.......
