Test running the IJS training for next month after they do the TT with zacosh and Josefine. All in it will probably be a little over 12km in the park if they do the whole thing. Have to move one control only so not too bad. The line-o was bumped out a bit because of about 100 deer standing in the way.........couldve been good Jukola mass start practice if we got them to dash.

Still a bit mawky. Trying to get an email sent around to staff in OSi about jogging at lunch times is proving more difficult than anticipated because of insurance.......seems a much more complicated process than I thought...

Just cycled to work, house viewing, from house viewing today. Head was tender through the night and I kept waking any time I slept on my left side. Bit throbby through the day today and sore to touch.

Leinster League #2 - The Pine Forest

First time orienteering here but I did take a soil sample here last summer with the Tellus Project. Fluffed it to #5, was looking ahead and lost focuse and went walk about. Didnt get back into it until about #8. Took the lower route to #13 along the road. To #17 I got lucky spotting the unmapped crossing option on the river so changed my route some bit. Struggled on the climb up to #18 in the rough stuff. Coming into the last few controls hit my head off a branch, bit of blood and bit wobbly/dazed coming it to the last section. Got even more confused heading to the 2nd last control on a the only hide on the map but with lots in the forest. Shouldve just run for the gully and up it but wasnt thinking straight at this stage.

Cool down with c.hill after he checked if my head was ok and that there wasn’t any piece of tree still stuck in it. Got away lightly, bit of a headache after but all passed before bed. Just a bump there now. Good to have a catch up chat.
