bruise foot from running on rocky trail probably from last week's race...

Mix off run and walk with some uphill running as well. did the incline after 2 hours of training ( time was 33 min)

Bruised my bottom of my right foot. black and blue...unable to train on Sunday will most likely go buy Hokas brand shoes because this has happened on more than one occasion.

Felt strong at the end of training and as I write this on Sunday, I am itching to get back out their but need to rest my swollen foot....

At least I got the 5000 ft climbs...

15 min warm up with dynmanic stretching

30 TM incline @ 4%, 8:27 pace

30 TM Flat @ 7:30

15 min cool down

both settings felt about the same effort...my breathing was good, body relaxed through out.

Cheyenne Mountain Park run. good example of rolling hills and had some heat to into the mix because of the trail being exposed...

TM incline @ 12%, 4.2 speed. was able to keep up well, though every 10 min my HR would increase; I think the highest it got at the end was 134 bpm.
