Got off course so I could make it longer. Ha!

Another challenging race with moving rocks and roots. The heat was also a factor.

I am not sure if I was taking enough calories in because when I got to mile 40, I was spent. I was sick of GUs. I did end up eating red potatoes with salt. unfortunately it was a lot walking and less running from mile 40 aid station (42 for me).

Despite finishing, I was ill prepared for the terrain but I am sure everyone else was too, they just had a better day then me.

TM Hill repeats hills (run3) 1:00:00 [3] 7.25 mi (8:17 / mi)

On the TM, run flat for 45:00 - 60:00 at normal easy pace, but each 5:00, raise it up to 6% and run the same pace uphill for 1:00. Then lower it back down and continue till the next hill starts

normal 15:00 easy run warmup and a few flat strides, the workout is 6 x .5 mile @ 7:00 pace with a 2 minute recovery consisting of easy running between each.

Good pace for me. didn't feel we wasted at the end
