Not the greatest race. The trails were tricky in the first part and messed me up a bunch. Also lost focus a bit and so lost some time after meeting some people that I knew since race was in my neighbourhood.

First cross country practice that I've gone to and it was fairly slow run because I was running with a friend who is new to running and I didn't want her to be on her own at the back for the first practice. I also forgot my shoes at home and so had to borrow shoes from a friend... let's just say they were NOT running shoes... but they were better than the sandals I had been wearing.
