Awesome run! I started off with one other girl, who's not quite as fast, especially running up a mountain, but that's ok. We met up with some others from our group who were just going for a walk up the mountain, but they had veered off the main road onto a quite steep, non-path. So I pushed it up the hill to join them, while the other girl decided she was just going to walk up the hill... fair enough. It was quite steep with a lot of prickles. By that point we hadn't gone particularily far, but she was done and since I'm not supposed to go off on my own, I basically just ran circles around the rest off the group. I ran up the hill again and then ran back and forth between the end of the road and the group. 'Twas fun indeed.

One of the guys in the group said he would do hill workouts with me once his ankle is better. So excited for that! It's going to be the hardest hill workouts I've ever done! Steep, slippery, prickly, and awesome!

I know I haven't uploaded anything in a long time, but I figure now's a good time to start again. I'm in Vietnam and it is absolutely gorgeous here. I also couldn't find the small village that I'm in on Google maps, and then I realized that I have my GPS watch and internet access.

I finished at the house that I'll be staying at the for the next two and a half months. My house it pretty much at the end of the village of Dong Chua. I was shocked when I came across another village higher up in the mountain.

Unfortunately I was severly scolded for going out on my own even though I was going out on a road that doesn't split, so getting lost would be physically imposible AND I had a cellphone with me. So my running schedule from now on is going to depend on whether I can find someone to run with me.
