Note

Tän hetkisellä rankin sijoituksella (19.) pääsis vissiin osallistuu nuorten arvokisa karsintoihin, jos nyt oikein muistan. Taitaa olla 3 tai 4 samana vuonna syntynyttä edellä, joten siinä on se neljä liikaa ja sitten vielä viitisentoista muuta. Ei hyvänen aika se on ihan sikana... :-/

Motivaatiota kyllä riittää (Hämiksen kommenttiin kommentoiden), mutta henkisesti on tällä hetkellä sen verran väsynyt, että treenaaminen on kokeiden takia tällä hetkellä hiukan ongelmallista...

Body feels already good, but school works tease me all time. Now the real exam week starts and I have five exams left during a week and I haven't read at all yet. So that why I think that it's better to not go to orienteering training at tuohijarvi tomorrow, because it takes too much time... Maybe just short running session. I hate exam weeks because then you have to consentrate to school and almost all your resources goes to it so you have no enough strength to do good trainings. ARGHHHHHH!!!!!! Of course maybe this is just one more excuse and I am be LAZY. AARGGGHHHH!!!!! again

Totally this competition weekend was ok- to me. Qualification for sprint was good (easy course :-)), final was dissapoint, but still not disaster and ultare long was good, but because of so small difference to 8th place the good feeling changed to ok so that why ok-.

I notice again a thing, which I have known before... I need lot of orienteering training and I mean A LOT...

Finnish ultra long championship. Performance was ok and I have to say that this kind of competition is good for me. In our series there was about 90 competitors. Start was ok, but to the second control whole line made mistake and when we found the control we notice that there was online one (how shall I say this) emit-stamp (leimasin) and there was about 50 guys over there. So we had total chaos there and almost a figth? I get pretty fast off from the control and left alone to the first dispersion control (we had so cald butterflies), but I made small mistake and some guys caugth me. Then performance was ok to he 5. control, but in 6. control I and many others made mistake because the "leader" guy had different control and I run little over from my control. At seventh control I was leader of our group (dispersion). Then 10. control was long way and during that 4 guys caugth me and the guy with me. Then we run in that group about 4km and some guys drop out from group. To 17th control our group (4 person) started to slow too early and I knew that, but I didn't were prave enough to go strait to where I thought that control was so we made about 2 min mistake ( If i just would have trusted to my self I could take it over minute faster). Still I was the first one from our group who notice the control. To the 18th I made bad route choise and then I notice about ten guys on leftside of me. Just after 18th control line stopped and I was the one who lead it to control because I knew again that control is little bit further away. Then with couple of micro route choise I lost some seconds and to the end I hadn't enough strength to push harder. I was 16th of about 90 guys, so it was ok race to me, but only 26 seconds from the 8th place makes me angry. I should have done more my own work and like that I could make my position better... I lost over 7minutes to leader, which is way too much, but as usually I made too much mistakes (about 6minutes)...

Qualification. Really easy gourse and solid performance. I was 4th in our qualification group, which was better than I expected, because I didn't give it all (Of course many other did the same than I)

Warm up and down before and after final.

orienteering race (sprint) 13:07 [5] * 2.49 km (5:16 / km)

Qualification was good so expected more about final, but I got dissapointed. I took 1. control ok, but during it I notice that legs weren't so good than they could have been. To 2. control I made small mistake, because I hadn't watch tha place of the control carefully enough so I stopped little bit too early to wrong control. Maybe 5 seconds mistake. Then it went well to the fifth control, but to 6. control I made bad route choise and also took the control little bit too carefully. Totally 10-13 seconds extra time. Next one was ok, but 8. control was dissaster. I just didn't watch carefully enough the direction where to go and made hugh mistake: 35 seconds. To the end I made one almost 10 seconds mistake to the 13. and also couple of litlle mistakes (2-3s). Totally I made 60-70 seconds mistakes so not good sprint at all. I was 23th and lost 1.56 to winner, 1.26 to second place and 57 seconds to my goal, which was 10th place or better. Winner was outstanding, but after that it was pretty even. Just need to train more... :-)

In some parts my "work" almost seemed like orienteering for 30 minutes, but then my brains had a typical "black moment". But still it was little bit better

Hmm. What would I say? To the 6th control I hadn't done many mistakes (I was been lucky, because my plans haven't been so good), but 7th control was total disaster to me (disaster again). I run about 500m to the rigth and then was little bit confused and done maybe 8 minute mistake. After that I didn't have any consentration at all (to the beginning I had some? Maybe) and the end was just running and then finding where I am (normal orienteering to me I guess). Totally I made maybe 15 minutes mistakes (which maybe 1.30 came before 6th control). And after my huge mistake, I didn't want push in full power... What kind of orienteerer am I or am I orienteerer? After todays race, I made decision that I never again leave the control if I don't have clear plan... Can I ever learn how to orienteer?

Race was total disaster for me... Running didn't feel good even if it was ok, but I just forget something... Ouh, jeah this is orienteering not just running. I think that I didn't do any plans today, so I didn't orienteer today. No consentration at all today and to the end I didn't have intresting to run as fast as I could run, because my mistakes. Totally I did maybe 8-9 minutes mistakes. Hmmm, I guess that is too much...

Am-sprint. Good traininf for Finnish sprint championships. Performance wasn't so good. To 11. control I made almost huge 25-30 seconds mistake and then maybe 2 or 3 smaller mistakes/bad route choices so totally maybe 40-45 secons mistakes at whole competition...

Running didn't feel good at all and I couldn't keep the speed on, I think that still little bit tired from 10mila... Track was also vet and there were couple of trees wich had fallen down to our running route... Still only 41 second from my own record so in better feeling I will break the record in many seconds...

Good performance at 1. leg of tiomila still even I went to 4 wrong controls during the race...Totally I could take maybe 90 seconds off my time. I was 101 at change 4.30 behind the leading guys, pretty happy to that. Total feeling was ok after my part of the race. Our team was 120., which was ok-, because it could be much better, but not bad still. Not bad...
