Banteer/Mount Hillary race
Won by Neol Berkely in 40 min. Progress I guess that I'm within 50% of the winner!
That was hard. Calfs felt on the edge of cramping as we climbed up the MTB track and on the steep section of the fire road. Ended up in a loose group of 6-7, which got strung out as the road levelled out at the top. Dropped them on the way down. Ended up on my own after the long muddy path off the summit. The road seemed like it was going on and on for what seemed like ages, took a bit of mental strength to get up the "little" hill on the way back and keep pushing to stay ahead of the two guys that caught me earlier after I had to slow for a Pee.
Not bad I guess since I have only done aerobic work for the majority of my training since I started properly in December.
