Rainy, cold, and dark so it's to the gym. Take a new pair of shoes. Easy warm-up. 6 miles at 6:53 then cool down. It's not yet breezing yet but sub-7 feels less like a slog lately. Scrap the weights. Maybe tomorrow. For now steady base miles are more important.

Had planned to run less today and more tomorrow. Even though I get home at 8 the weather dictates a change. It's mild and dry so Shadow and I loop the park trails. A little more use of the asphalt paths today as the lights aren't holding as much charge lately. These asphalt sections show the back-up trail shoes to be spent. Too bad. I liked the original Nandi as a lighter weight off-road and you can't find them any more.
