Note

First week over ten hours this year vs. 18 of the 21 weeks that made it into AP for the same period 2004. Some of this is the addition of a child but a lot is the misapplication of my own time. The last few weeks represented a concsious plan to work less.

running (mixed surface) 50:00 [1] 5.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

A momentous event: The first family run with Kristin, Shadow, and Miles in his new jogging stroller. Will this be the a sentinel event showing a return to form? Doubtful.

Talked to my sister today who has managed to keep running through this week with the due date for her own first kid next week. She found out I am in a triathlon next weekend and her immediate comment was "RACING?!! YOU DON'T TRAIN!! (slight pause) You're going to get your ass kicked." Got to love having a younger sibling. Mr. Scale agrees with her as my wine and business travel soaked reading is 172.
