Purple course at Possum Creek, set by dersu, who did a very admirable job setting a long course in a smallish green park. There was a lot of back-and-forth to include some longer legs, and these legs had some very good route choice. (I'm eager to see some of mikeminium's route choices -- can we get this meet up on RG?) Dayton Metroparks seem to be taking honesuckle eradication more seriously than other park systems. Going through some of the rough-open left by the eradication efforts is eerie, but hopefully will be very nice in a few years.
I ran fairly well, though pretty slow. Made a couple of dumb mistakes very early, on #1 and #2, and cursed the map a couple of times (the area east of the 'marsh' at #11 could be updated with vertical green lines [and wasn't that control on the east of the marsh -- not the south?], and I wished I had a 1:5000 map for all of the fences between #17 and #18.) Putting the 17-18 leg at the end was ruthless; I probably would have done it differently -better - if I hadn't been so tired.
