Road Running 1:39:00 [3]

Time would have been better spent sleeping. More walking than running. Hate being sick.

Note
(rest day)

I've decided to quit running and just focus on eating mass quantities of food. Also thinking of hawking my Garmin to buy more chocolate. Don't know how people use a GPS on a regular basis.

In Edmonton. Cold, windy and rainy night. Left hamstring still tight and weak. No power. Only three hours of sleep last night.

The theme for the next two weeks is transparency. Legs are still tired and tight, so took things very slow and easy, especially on the hills (but ran a lot of rolling hill repeats). GPS is usually way off along the west of the Don toward Sunnybrook, particularly on the winding climbs and zig zags, but it's better to be conservative in my records anyway. Hopefully I can get a better idea of my pacing so that I can be more realistic with coming goals. Next week will be more accurate once I'm back to normal, but figured I'd record this week as well.
