30 mins @ 3:59/km
15 mins @ 4:40/km

A bit faster today to wake up the legs and transition out of my recovery week. Swallowed about a million tiny bugs by the waterfront.

Felt great. Was supposed to do this workout tomorrow, but Friday is looking crazy, so will just do today's recovery session then. If I'm sent to the principal's office, so be it.

EY-Riverdale-Little India-Home. Easy. Recovery weeks are kind of like a vacation, except that it's more fun to run fast and long, so maybe they're more like a punishment that is good for you, but that doesn't really make sense either, so I should just stop typing and turn off my computer.

Back a bit sore tonight. Calf seems completely healed after my physio today.

(injured)

Steady 33-min walk to work this morning. No pain or discomfort or lack of mobility, so that's good. The one section of the upper/outer calf is still painful to the touch, so will continue with the deep massages and rolling. It seems more like the after effects of a charlie horse than an actual tear, so not sure what I did to it. May try an easy run this evening, but will back off if it becomes painful.

Trail Running 50:00 [3] 10.05 km (4:59 / km)
(injured) shoes: Turquoise

Easy run at Sunnybrook. No pain or discomfort, so pretty happy about that. Probably would have been sore if I'd run a hilly route. The calf is still a bit tender when I press into it, but definitely getting better. I think I should be recovered in time for the race in two weeks. Going to physio tomorrow to check things out regardless.

This pace felt very easy. On the last two recovery weeks, I felt pretty crappy for the first few runs, so this is a nice change.
