Trail Running 4:27:00 [3] 50.0 km (5:20 / km) +1420m 4:41 / km
shoes: Turquoise

Finished third at the Pick Your Poison 50K. Very hilly but fun race. Went easy for first 25K and then picked things up a bit. Had some muscle cramping issues around 35K, so just chilled out a bit. Was supposed to run hard the final 10K, but didn't want to risk my legs seriously cramping, so just ran steady. Feel pretty good physically right now, so with a taper I think I can race much stronger.

Easy at lunch after stressful morning at work with website crash. Legs heavy, so may be in for a tough race tomorrow. Tapering tonight, so should be okay.

shoes: Orange

Easy at the beach. Way overdressed. This is the start of another three-week cycle of hard training. The cool thing is that at the end of this cycle, I get to taper for two weeks before Sulphur. Will be interesting to see how I run on rested legs.

Really love these shoes. Not sure how many hours I'll get out of this pair, but hopefully around 75.
