Not a great racing day for me, but didn't hope or plan for much (actually expected to finish lower than 4th) given the past month. Fell hard twice. First time was in first loop and my calf seized up a bit. Second time was in second loop and was a bad fall. My hamstring seized up and I thought I was done. Managed to get going again, but didn't push the pace after that. On both falls, I had a runner right close at my back in technical sections (hate that).

Was in 2nd at the 51K mark, but then two guys caught up and I didn't follow. Ran 30' slower than last year, so not a great performance.

Felt tired and decided to skip my run, but then ate an ice cream sandwich and felt better. Just an easy jog though.

Just a disaster. Exhausted and leg was sore. Skipped the tempo run scheduled and just jogged for 40'. Not good.
