Running 25:00 [3]

Ran round botanic gardens/totara park loop anticlockwise. was fun, enjoy running in totara park cos i dont have to think bout it and it feels easy and makes you feel fast. once i got back into th gardens felt slow tho. did some stretches after - my hammys r so tight, so is my right hip

Riding (show jump lesson) 1:00:00 [5]

Lesson at simons with Andrew Scott. Was really good to touch base with him again cos its been about a month since hes been up here. Cos of exams hadnt ridden for a couple weeks so was feeling a bit rusty. Rode well mostly, mainly was focusing on rhythm of canter and keeping eye to base of jump on approach which was good. Andrew thought we were jumping well, just thought i need to use my body a bit more to tell boz where we're going earlier! All the jumps were descent sizes. oxer in 3 stride line had to be at least 1.35m sure it was only bout 20-30cm away from top of jump stand. vertical 2 strides to oxer were both huge also. only knocked down the swedish oxer once, had been having to move up out of the corner to it but changed my ride to make him go deep so that i could get the 3 stride line after it so he knocked it down but other than that boz was a super star today. i just need to practise jumping the huge ones so that wen he jumps them even bigger or a bit awkwardly i dont look like a lemon! pretty good day at th office all round :)
