Hockey 1:00:00 [3]
(injured) (sick)

Woo hoo hockey! Oh boy fun! Lets skate real fast backchecking and take out a guy on a partial breakaway in a stunning defensive move! Awesome! You're super! And now you have a fraction of a second to decide if you want to hit the boards at top speed with your head, shoulder or leg. You pick shoulder? Congratulations! You get to go to the hospital tomorrow to make sure you didn't break anything.

Nice job finishing the game though, you're a trooper.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [2] **** 5.0 km (12:00 / km)
spiked:7/10c weight:243.5lbs (sick) shoes: XT Wings 2

Bo and I did Jodi's O-course at the Hemlock Ravine. It's a surprisingly challenging spot, both for navigation and off trail terrain. Bo and I had a good time, though before we got the headlamps out we were heading into some very rocky and dark brush while he was on my shoulders and I heard him say "I don't know about this daddy..." Little does he know that we're just getting started!

Later when it was very dark we met another family with older but still young girls who were joking about the lights they saw being light monsters. Bo has a strange relationship with monsters where he's intrigued, but still cautious. I had to explain to him that they were pretending that WE were the monsters. Some confusion ensued. I'm still not sure if monsters even scare him. Just wait until the sleep monsters come kid!

Trekking 1:30:00 [3] 5.0 km (18:00 / km)
shoes: XT Wings 2

Trail building with Bo, E-Rock, Mr. E-Rock and Kootenay. Cleaned up some old trail, reworked a rock garden and scouted for new ground. Some potential in there but damn if there isn't a lot of rocks!

We'll call it 5 km I guess?
