The weather was still bad with some more snow, so we decided just to go for a short hike (somewhat less than an hour) before heading home.

XC-Skiing (Skate) 1:30:00 [2]
Not sure if this qualifies as 'training'. We planned to do a relaxing weekend in Leukerbad with some XC-skiing up at Gemmi/Daubensee. Despite the snow we took the gondola up to Gemmi where we had to realize that there was such thick fog that you could not see further than 50m and it was snowing quite strong. So we decided to go to the restaurant and wait. After a good hour it cleared up and even the sun started to shine. However 5-10cm snow covered the skiing tracks so it was quite slow skating always trying to find where the actual track was below the freshly fallen snow. Finally we ended up doing 'something' so that we had a good reason to go down to Leukerbad an chill in the thermal bath...

Due to lack of snow we decided to converte our planned skiing trip into some hikin. Biel, Magglingen, Twannberg, Twannschlucht, Twann. With Yvonne, Chrigi and Irene.
14km 600m climb. 3h total. Afterwards we had a coffee sitting in the sun at the lake shore in Biel - outdoor in February!

Long run Bu- Flüe- Kaltacker- Schwande- Bickigen- Bu. Tired legs from the first hill on and I felt already tired after 1h20 but I had to get home somehow...
It was probably too early after yesterday's race.

Bern by Night 4 (unfortunately the last one for this season).
Less runners than usual but still a lot of fun. Started well until I made rout choice error from to the 6th (2-3'). Was mostly running all by myself for the rest of the race.

Swiss Billygoat - Sissacherflue
This was a very fun event in the 'goat' style - mass start and you could skip one control of your choice plus there was one forking where you could choose which one to go.
I started well and tried not to go to fast. I almost skipped 12 which would have been a good choice but instead I skipped later where it didn't make much sense. In addition I lost a total of about 5' on various controls, so I'm not really happy with my perfomance. However, as I wrote in the beginning it was a lot of fun!

A short run with a few accelerations. Felt rather tired in the beginning but after I once pushed the HR it felt much better.

The plan was to do an off trail training but somehow my body didn't like it. Felt dizzy again after I started to push a bit so I decided to quit and just jog back easily. Guess I need a rest day and some good sleep.
