Swiss Champs Long - Schmidwald-Horben - H35 - mp.

I mispunched, not good at all! Third one this week after skipping two on Wednesday. I took a little "stream" crossing instead of a stream end (40m away). Number 104 instead of 94, I should have noticed this but I didn't. Normally I check the codes and I remember looking at 104 and thinking ok... Don't know why...

Otherwise I made several mistakes as well. 20" on 9, 2' on 11th and 1' each on 14 and 15. This would still bring me on 5th place today. Podium out of reach.

Sprint Swiss Champs - Willisau - H35 (7/28)

Ok, my shape was ok but not perfect, despite my mental preparation ;-). I felt tired and slightly sick the whole day but I was surprised how well I physically felt during the race. I can't say how much faster I could run feeling in top shape, well we'll never know...

Regarding the technical side, it was almost perfect. Almost because of one 20" mistake to the 12th control. This is too much for such an easy course.
I turned left one alley too early and it took some seconds until I realized it. Typical mistake you do while running at 110%. This threw me from the 4th to the 7th place. Too bad but that's life...

My goal was to run 10-12' at race pace and then finish it a bit easier. I made several mistakes:
- read from 3-15 realized it when Irene crossed me coming from 3 (no time lost)
- did not go to 11 (3 controls in a straight line, didn't realize it until the in the finish.
- maybe wrong route to 14
- ran straight past 14 while reading the next routechoice, didn't realize it until the end
- stood infront of a closed door (map error)

Looks like I have to improove something until Saturday....
