Running 21:00 [1]
shoes: Asics Gel DS16

Rowing Machine 20:00 [2]

Strength and Conditioning 10:00 [3]

Trying out the 'easy cross training is better than rest for my achilles' theory. Achilles tendons feel great today, the day after a hill race. It's how they feel midweek that's of more concern.

Dollar Hill Race. 38/100. +28.3%. Quite happy with that. Lost about 3 places on the final descent to people who could descend properly but otherwise fairly steady. Lovely day. Best hill race result yet.

Rowing Machine 20:00 [1]

Strength and Conditioning 10:00 [3]

Easy rather than rest day. I'm a bit concerned my achilles tendons are starting to hurt more first thing each morning - classic sign of scar tissue that forms overnight and gets broken down starting walking around in the morning. I do wonder if some light rowing is better than complete rest. I need to get the frequency of rowing up again and not to increase speed work or tarmac any further.
