Clyde Urban Race @ Glasgow West End, starting and finishing in Kelvingrove Park. 4th, 2'37 behind DonaldP. Bit slow off the mark and was 11th at no. 6, 2'28 behind DonaldP and 2'29 behind AndrewD. Maybe 30" route error at 6 taking a long way round not spotting a gap through just in front of control plus some feeling fairly tired and not really running hard enough. Then almost caught by Dixie who was arriving at 6 as I was hearing to 7 which gave me a kick up the backside and ran hard, staying in front of him. 21'54 for rest of course versus 21'45 (Donald), 21'52 (Dixie), 22'19 (AndrewD)

Broxburn x-country. 137/242. +31.7% (called A.Timmis, it would appear). Good run - not really in the mood at the beginning and went off easyish - then pulled up a bit and got 50m from somewhere in the last few minutes finishing a few places ahead of IvorN, same as last East District.

So I don't think I've gone backwards during recent break. Need to get a grip from here though if I want some better results.

Well, first attempt to run fast again. At least that will have got me in a better state for trying to run fast at the weekend.

Rowing Machine 25:00 [1]

Feeling lighter again today... and lo and behold the Xmas weight has dropped off again. Phew.

I drink > 1,000 calories a week of Tropicana. Better cut that.
