Jog warm up for Braids X-Country and very tired 4.5 mile run home.

Braid Hills X-Country. Quite happy with this - didn't follow the advice to go very fast up first hill as everyone slows down the moment they are on the single track descent and, lo and behold, everyone slowed to the moment they were on the single track descent. Overtook about 25 with dodgy runs down the side of the path. Caught SimonH early in second lap, caught JonR just before end but he had a better finishing sprint. Behind DanC. Ahead of JasonI - wish I could do that in a forest, with a map.

Feel like I have a cold coming on so didn't run. Don't want to risk a long break at the moment (like last winter....) Feeling pretty good after yesterday - achilles feeling great.
