Another day another 5k. Hip feeling a bit better today - finally did some internet legwork on it and it sounds most like hip bursitis - inflammation of the bursa between the tendons going over the hip and the hip itself. Ice helps. Aha. Am now icing and feeling better for it so far. Some slight pain on the left now....

Went to watch the x-country then joined a dozen HBT members at Sarah's flat, working on a keg of pale ale which apparently needed finished. Then walked home. Then went for another easy 5k run. Hip hurt more this time, might be all the walking around, I don't know. I had stopped ibuprofen but will start it again.

Getting there. Kept very relaxed and right hip not feeling too bad, although was tightening up after 5k so just keeping it at that for now.
