Short long run round Arthur's Seat to my sister's flat for dinner. Biting cold running into snow at one point. Feeling generally tired - legs felt like the end of a long run after 5 miles. Given that I'm meant to be doing some sustained mileage at the moment that's probably exactly the right feeling.

Mileage: 15, 25, 32, 26, 37, 41, 40, 30, 40, 41.

Martin's Intervals. Didn't feel very good running there - slightly late so joined the first one part way and took it easy. Then felt better once I got going - 4'26, 4'24, 4'23, 4'20, av. 4'23.3 = 3'30/km, albeit just for four. Hamstrings badly tightening up for the last two. Just ahead of HBT trio of Huw, Tess and ColinC (who beat me on the first one I did, but not others).

Good... running well. Left achilles sore at end, another reminder not to push it from here for now. This is going fine.
