Stirling 10k. Good running conditions - neither hot nor cold. Felt fresher for two days off, but my legs were aching from the beginning. 19'05 first half, 19'14 second half. Av. HR of 157 suggests there is plenty still in the tank aerobically but I've a way to go to sort out whatever I've done to my legs this year. Intend to keep up taking it generally easy but with one fast run a week until Great Scottish Run then another break after that. Just beat StuartM.

Meadows 2 miler. Decent warm up. Feeling less tired although still quite far from fresh. 5'41 first mile and thought I was about to speed up and pass StuartM ahead of me, but instead died a bit (5'52 second mile) and DaveM went past. Then coughed a lot. Not so bad actually. Getting my act together again gradually, although it's not there yet.
