Running 55:46 [1] 10.6 km (5:16 / km) +50m 5:08 / km
weight:76.9kg shoes: GT2000 (Blue)

Easy run, very tired at beginning but picked up after a while. Knee and achilles not too bad.

Running long 3:00:00 [1] 32.8 km (5:29 / km) +182m 5:20 / km
ahr:121 weight:77.1kg shoes: GT2000 (Blue)

Another long slow. Tired from the get go it was apparent it was going to be hard fairly early on. Lost it after about 2.5 hours and slowed badly. Considered stopping (no plodding rule) but instead did a couple of 1 min walks. Bleugh.

New shoes again, after bad knee. Asics GT2000 - more stability and cushioning. Worse I think for both knee and achilles. Knee taped with rock tape as an experiment so can't do simple comparison. Both calves sore after... more cushioning? Greater heel to front drop?

Running (Treadmill) 1:00:00 [1] 12.0 km (5:00 / km)
weight:77.1kg shoes: Asics Gel DS 19 Red

Knee still generally worse than a week or so ago so avoided the gradient. But it was still bad. Wonder if it is these shoes, better go back to the GT1000s, plus try the taping again. That being said, beginning to feel very comfortable doing an hour at this pace.

Running 1:00:00 intensity: (45:00 @1) + (15:00 @3) 11.15 km (5:23 / km) +150m 5:03 / km
weight:76.3kg shoes: Asics Gel DS 19 Red

Another easy treadmill but with 3k @ 5% = 150m climb. HR went up to 142ish at 10.5kph. Hmmm.

Knee sore-ish so just adding the climb into the mix slowly.

Running intervals 1:09:03 intensity: (49:03 @1) + (20:00 @4) 14.6 km (4:44 / km) +34m 4:41 / km
weight:76.9kg shoes: ASICS GT1000/5

Martin's intervals, to ensure I do at least some fast-ish running. Late for first one then about 4 mins each for the 1k loop. HR getting to about 150. Crisp icy evening, longish warm down, feeling energetic following the faster running.

Monday Feb 2, 2015 #

Running 1:00:00 intensity: (43:00 @1) + (17:00 @2) 11.1 km (5:24 / km) +150m 5:04 / km

Easy treadmill but with 3km @ 5% gradient. Trying to reintroduce climb, but gently.
