Managed to make myself not run, nor nothing else leg based neither.

Bogtrot. 29th, +26.5% (won by Scotia). Quite happy with this - although my legs still don't feel right, I was fresher than I thought I would be and did OK, overtaking on the ascents and descents as the race progressed. Ahead of PeteMc, Michael, George, Stuart. Reasonable morale boost.

Went to Kenny @ Space about my back which is still sore, 6 months on. Apparently I'm barely bending my spine, just bending from the hips, so was given a couple of exercises concentrating on actually flexing the middle of the spine.

Some easy jogging to physio and then work.

So it turned out that a work event was going to take up all of lunchtime and then finish with drinks, so that seemed to rule out running. Then I remembered that I'm in a club which approves of running while drunk so went to training anyway. Luckily it was an easyish session.
